The Arka Youth Centre welcomes Salvatore Esposito and his Sciamano

Throughout the day of Saturday the 12^th of February, the Arka Youth Centre moved to Italy for few hours and namely in Mugnano di Napoli, city of birth of the special guest of that weekend: Salvatore Esposito.

The guest, coming from Campania Region from Italy, is a very well known person both in the Italian and International film industry thanks to his leading role as Genny Savastano on the Italian television series Gomorra, inspired by the homonymous bestseller by Roberto Saviano.

Best known for his talent as an actor, Salvatore Espositoactuallycomesto Albania under another guise, that is that of a writer. In fact, for some years the famous face of Gomorra has started with the activity of writing, starting in 2016 with his autobiography “Non volevodiventareun Boss” (I did not want to become a boss) and then in 2021 with his first novel Lo Sciamano. And it is precisely in this regard that the new writer arrived at Arka Youth and Cultural Center in Shkodra, in order to present and promote his first approach to writing.

Lo Sciamanois a thriller novel which tells the story of an internationally renowned profiler, who has to solve a crime that has some connections with his private personal life. The new book, as explains the writer, was actually born with the intention of writing a screenplay that only in a second moment took the form of a real novel and that will later become a television seriesfurther.

A lot of people came to attend the presentation and among them many Italians who are currently in Albania for work reasons, but also many young Albanians passionate and fans of the actor. Precisely with them Salvatore Esposito showed to be available to dialogue and discuss on important issues related to youth, inviting them to constantly commit themselves to realize their dreams, but also remanding them to accept with a positive attitude the personal defeats as well.

It has been an honour for Albania, and especially for the Arka Youth Centre, to have Salvatore Esposito for one day, thus bringing some Italian culture but especially, professionalism and fun.

The Arka Center thanks Salvatore Esposito for his presence, and it is enthusiastic to have him again for the presentation of the second chapter of Lo Sciamano, which will be released in Italian bookstores very soon.
