We concluded our activities in February with the monthly visit at the nursing home. A modest party was  organized for all the grandparents, who celebrated their birthdays this month. The company we offer the elderly and the continuous care are essential. This initiative is sponsored by the incomes ARKA Kitchen generates with the support of the project Embrace.

ARKA Youth Center welcomed in its premises a group of youngsters of Roskovec and Ura Vajgurore municipalities, who organized a study visit in Shkodër. One of the projects that ARKA Youth Council has undertaken in collaboration with the staff of the nursery home Shkoder is organizing a party once a month to celebrate the birthdays of the elderly. In January, three grandparents had their birthday and were amazed by the surprise. Everyone who wishes, can join this initiative!

Saturday, January 11th, 16:30, the meeting of ARKA Youth Council. The members discussed the activities that had been organized and made proposals for new ones. After the gathering at 18:00, the youngsters enjoyed “Movie Night”.

On September 9th and 10th a group of youngsters studying for the Bachelor’s Degree in “Applied Science and Arts” at the University of Lucerne, Switzerland visited Shkoder.
