Klodian Ulndreaj, 22 years old. I have studied at the “AtëPjetërMeshkalla” high school and have graduated with a Bachelor degree in Jurisprudence at the Faculty of Law, University of Shkodër. Currently, I am studying for a Master’s Degree “Constitutional- Administrative” at the Faculty of Law, University of Shkodër “LuigjGurakuqi”.
This year I run for the Youth Council elections for the following reasons:
–Development of leadership skills
Our country leans on youth power to build a brighter future, that’s why I strongly believe that the development of leadership skills is essential for the youngsters while still in process of education.
–Engagement in extracurricular activities
Many high school students have the tendency to stick to activities organized by their school, that’s why they judge situations superficially. Youth representation at the Council will help us all see through the daily obligations school imposes us, engaging in activities, that can help make a change.
–Learn the importance of team work
Team work is a key point that leads to success. Of course, we can work hard on our own, but it is much more fulfilling when we are around people, who encourage us and support what we do. That’s why the capability of working in teams is acquired and further boosted when engaged in a youth organization.
-A variety of opportunities
Many organizations led by youth power have a strong positive impact on the society. If I am to join the Youth Council, I can assure you that I will work hard in order to create a network of youth centers and associations.
-Contribution to the community
One of the main objectives of a youth organization is its contribution to the local community, whether it is organizing a charity event, sponsorship program or another activity.
I believe that helping others is not only an indulgence but also our responsibility. Sharing your thoughts and knowledge is gratifying as the smile you put on someone’s face is the simplest, yet rewarding ray of hope.
